This light, turns on when the truck is started, stays on longer than the glow plugs wait to start light but goes off after maybe 15 seconds of it running.
s solved: it's a default setting g low plug timer. MM54 gets the win.

Whats the light indicating or supposed to be indicating?

If there were a wideband O2 sensor I’d say it’s the heater for that, but being there isn’t (and it’s diesel) I’m not sure what to say if it’s not the glowplugs.

The timing is close enough to being glow plugs I'm going to assume it's just a default 30 second or whatever glow plug timer. The factory timer adjusts depending on how warm the engine already is so the pod wouldn't know that.

It’s probably still for the glow plugs, connected to the controller output. The preheat light turning off doesn’t mean the plugs are actually off, just that they’re hot enough to attempt engine start. They cycle on and off for a bit after starting (if needed.)

If I were a betting man then I would say is an oil pressure warning light. Except you should have one of those on the main dash...
